Image: Summer Camp 2018

Get outside this summer and experience hands-on life at the ranch!

With Junior Leaders (12-18 year olds) as their teachers, these educational, interactive and FUN camps provide opportunities for campers specific to their ages. Camps are broken into 4-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds, and 9-11 year olds.

Animal Life Camp

Campers will learn about chickens, goats, pigs, and cows. Kids will work directly with each of these animals, doing hands-on activities, and learning about livestock with unique and fun facts! With a chance to bottle feed calves, milk goats, and connect the dots about our sources for food, campers will walk away this summer with wonderful memories and knowledge!

Farm Life Camp

Campers will have hands-on interactive fun learning with our goats and chickens, and an opportunity to help our Junior Leaders feed their livestock (cows, pigs, goats, and chickens). Campers will also learn about composting, gardening, pollination, and utilizing resources from livestock such as wool. They will be mini-scientists looking at compost jars with a magnifying glass, studying butterflies from all stages of life, learning about bee-keeping and their essential role in pollination, experience spinning and dying wool, and tying together how important livestock, food, and farming are to the world around us!

The two weekly camp themes are designed to compliment each other, giving campers a complete experience of life at the ranch.

Sign up for both camps and get a discount!
